for Heping Island Park Entry

Safety is the highest priority, please follow.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parents.
Parents must attend to their children while they are playing or using the facility.
Please keep your belongings in a safe place. The Park is not responsible for your belongings.
Please tie your pet to a leash or a nest box and clean up the excrement. There is no pet check-in service in the Park.
There are smoking areas by the Visitor Center and the parking lot. Please do not smoke outside of the smoking areas.
The sedimentary rock is a restricted access area, please do not enter without applying for entry.
Applications for permission is required for commercial videotaping, teaching or other commercial activities.
Applications for permission is required for group activities that will affect others in the Park.
Applications for permission is required for using air drones.
Please do not use any sport equipment, such as roller-bladers, bicycles, scooters or other items common in nature, except for official use.
Please do not use sun-shading equipment larger than 3M x 3M.
Please do not use fire equipment, toxic substances, flammable materials or dangerous items.

14. Do not climb trees or pick flowers, do not climb rocks or catch living creatures.

In case of natural disasters, power/water outages or force majeure, please cooperate with the Park related measures.
Keelung citizens living in Zhongzheng District are permitted to collect seaweed after application.

**The right to enter/use Heping Island Park will be suspended for the visitors who destroy public property, affect the operations and the safety of others.

**If the accident is caused by not complying with the above notices, the Park will not be liable for compensation.

Important Notices for Using Heping Island Park Outdoor Pools

To maintain the safety and rights of swimmers, please read the notices before entering the pool

For your safety, please follow the management practices and the instructions of the lifeguards.
Do not enter the outdoor pools without lifeguards’ supervision. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by the parents to enter the pools. Do not swim alone.
The Blue Ocean Pool is partitioned for different functions. Please cooperate.
Please warm up before entering the outdoor pools. Please consider swimming skills and health conditions due to the water depth. If you are unwell or have infectious diseases, please do not enter the pools.
The Blue Ocean Pool is a natural sea water pool with a water depth up to 2.5 meters. The Kiddie Pool is a natural sea water pool with a water depth of about 60 cm. The parents need to be in the pools with their children when the children are playing in the water.
Outdoor pools hours of operation are subject to on-site announcements. In the event of big waves or force majeure, the Park will close the outdoor pools, please follow the lifeguards’ instructions and go ashore.
When the Blue Ocean Pool water level is higher than 180 cm (according to the marking line), diving in a specific area is allowed. Running and chasing are prohibited on the wooden boardwalk.
Do not litter or discard polluting items and maintain natural ecology. Do not catch living creatures or carry fishing nets or tools.
When using outdoor pools and facilities, it is recommended to wear swimwear, swimming caps, non-slip shoes, and avoid touching sea urchins and barnacles, etc., to avoid injury.
When entering the Intertidal Zone, it is recommended to wear non-slip shoes and follow the lifeguards’ instructions for your safety.
Do not swim naked, walk on the edge of the outdoor pools, play ball games, or carry your own diving equipment, inflatable boats that can carry more than 2 people and paddling.
Do not bring pets into the rest of the pools except for the pet area.
Do not climb the lifeguard towers and arbitrarily use or destroy the life-saving equipment. Do not lie about the distress signal or perform other acts that may interfere with the lifeguard.
Do not enter the open sea from the outdoor pool area without the consent of the Park.
